The hall has been part of the community for many years, it seats 110 people and comprises 100 square meters of floor space. We also maintain an alcohol licence and are fully insured.
The Village Hall in Llanbedr is a central hub for community life, and a convenient base for visitors to the Black Mountains. Whether you’re hosting an event, attending a local gathering, or organising a walk, the Hall offers a practical and welcoming space with accessible parking
The Hall is perfect for all kinds of functions – wedding and birthday parties, classes (yoga, singing, art etc), meetings or afternoon teas.
The main Hall is used for a variety of events, shows, demonstrations and community gatherings.

The Kitchen
We have a fully equipped kitchen, catered for all. It has:
- Electric cooker
- Microwave
- Fridge
- Electric urn for larger events
- Ample crockery, saucepans and cutlery
- Serving hatch into main hall
- Fire extinguisher and fire blanket
- First aid box
The Hall is disabled friendly. We also have an external Defibrillator available for community use on the left of the main doors.
It can be used by outside caterers for all events.
Overnight Use
The Hall is a convenient and cost-effective occasional overnight base for walking groups and others exploring the Black Mountains, but please be aware that it is very basic. There is no bedding, so users need to bring their own sleeping mats, and there are no showers. This is a popular low-cost option for universities, schools, sporting events, walking groups, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, bikers, ramblers and runners.
Parking
The car park outside the Hall is usually available for parking by visitors to the village for a small fee (unless the Hall and/or the car park have been booked for a particular event). Please help our community by using the car park when you visit – it keeps the roads clear of cars, and the payment goes towards the running costs of the Hall
